TheBeatCollector has spent a ‘lifetime of saying it and now he’s doing it’!

Having danced around the fringes, DJing and making mixtapes, it was always clear that guitars and keyboards were calling! Tinkering & looping in the wee small hours has paid off.

The name is well established in funk n soul circles but it seems the time is right to start the next chapter…

The debut album is a box of tunes that are all short and sweet - as real pop should be. Get in, get out and keep them wanting more.  

‘The modernism is in the titles and doesn’t need a nod, but of course it is who we are, so by definition fuels the machine’.

Hoping the migration from South to North London doesn’t go unnoticed, he says this music is for the kids, and so, with a sense of impending doom TheBeatCollector is strapped in for the backlash.

‘Sally, India & Jake have put a voice to my nonsense and I couldn’t be happier with the results’. 

It’s a lot to digest for those that know him but if they really know him they’d agree…
